1. ABOUT SIDESEEN
SIDESEEN is an independent photographic and cultural project documenting the culture around women’s sport.
SIDESEEN’s work may include photography, interviews, writing, publications, films, objects, gatherings, participatory projects, cultural research and an evolving archive.
2. THE SIDESEEN RECORD
SIDESEEN exercises independent editorial judgment over what it photographs, publishes, archives, edits and includes in its projects.
Submitting information, participating in a conversation, suggesting a place or ritual, tagging SIDESEEN, sending SIDESEEN material or otherwise interacting with SIDESEEN does not create a right to publication or inclusion.
SIDESEEN may decide what enters the record, how it is presented and whether it remains published, subject to applicable law and any specific agreement with a participant or contributor.
3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise indicated, the original content presented by SIDESEEN—including photographs, artwork, graphics, publications, writing, video, editorial concepts and website content—is owned by SIDESEEN or used with permission and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may access the site for personal, non-commercial use.
Unless SIDESEEN gives prior written permission, you may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, license, modify, commercially exploit, scrape, systematically download or create derivative commercial uses from SIDESEEN’s original content.
The fact that a photograph, artwork or other work is publicly viewable on thisisparq.com or a SIDESEEN social account does not place that work in the public domain or grant a license for reuse.
Nothing in these Terms restricts rights that applicable law independently provides, including lawful fair use.
4. SIDESEEN NAME AND IDENTITY
SIDESEEN’s names, logos, wordmarks, symbols, property names and other source-identifying material may be protected by trademark and other applicable laws.
Nothing on this site grants permission to use SIDESEEN branding in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation or authorization by SIDESEEN.
These Terms do not claim copyright protection over material that copyright law does not protect.
5. SUBMISSIONS TO SIDESEEN
SIDESEEN may invite people to submit information, ideas, recommendations, memories, photographs, stories, locations, rituals, routes or other material.
You retain whatever ownership rights you otherwise have in material you submit.
By voluntarily submitting material for SIDESEEN’s consideration, you represent that you have the right to provide it and that doing so does not knowingly violate another person’s rights.
Unless a separate agreement or submission notice states otherwise, submitting material gives SIDESEEN permission to receive, review, internally store and evaluate that material for editorial purposes.
Submission alone does not give SIDESEEN unrestricted ownership of your work.
If SIDESEEN wants to publish, license or commercially use contributor-created material in a way requiring additional permission, SIDESEEN may request a separate agreement or consent.
This section does not override specific terms presented with a particular submission form.
6. CONVO, PHOTOGRAPHY AND INTERVIEWS
Participation in SIDESEEN CONVO, portraits, interviews or other documented encounters may be subject to separate consent, release or participation terms.
Those specific permissions govern the authorized use of photographs, quotations, recordings and related material.
These website Terms do not expand SIDESEEN’s rights beyond the permissions actually obtained for a particular participant or project.
7. ACCEPTABLE USE
You may not use the site to:
- interfere with its operation or security;
- attempt unauthorized access to systems or information;
- submit unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or malicious material;
- impersonate another person;
- knowingly infringe another person’s intellectual-property, privacy or other rights;
- harvest personal information from the site;
- use automated systems to systematically extract SIDESEEN’s archive or content in violation of applicable law or these Terms; or
- falsely represent an affiliation with SIDESEEN.
8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
SIDESEEN may link to or interact with third-party websites, platforms, ticketing services, social networks, venues, organizations or other services.
SIDESEEN does not control those services and is not responsible for their content, availability, terms or privacy practices.
A link or reference does not necessarily constitute endorsement.
9. OBJECTS, TICKETS AND COMMERCE
SIDESEEN may eventually offer physical OBJECTS, publications, tickets, paid gatherings or other products and experiences.
Where a transaction is subject to additional purchase, shipping, returns, ticketing or event terms, those terms will be presented in connection with the relevant offering.
SIDESEEN will update these Terms as its commerce operations develop.
10. EDITORIAL INFORMATION
SIDESEEN is a documentary and cultural project.
We make reasonable efforts to present our original editorial work accurately, but information about places, events, businesses, schedules, routes and other external subjects may change.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, SIDESEEN does not guarantee that third-party information remains complete, current or available.
11. NO IMPLIED AFFILIATION
Unless explicitly stated, SIDESEEN’s coverage of a team, league, athlete, venue, competition, organization or brand does not mean that SIDESEEN is sponsored by, affiliated with or endorsed by that entity.
SIDESEEN’s independent documentary coverage remains editorially independent.
12. DISCLAIMER
The site and its content are provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law.
SIDESEEN does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the site or that every piece of information will always be complete, current or error-free.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SIDESEEN will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising solely from your use of, or inability to use, the site.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
SIDESEEN may update these Terms as the website, archive and business evolve.
When material changes are made, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice where required.
